Mercedes Benz Fashion Week will be producing its final shows over the next 24 hours, and we've been absolutely floored so far by some of the most amazing Spring 2014 collections that are set to drop in stores early next year.

With Alexander Wang's SS/14 collection debuting on Saturday evening, it has received nothing but praise. With his own modern twist on his 90's inspired collection, Wang's latest namesake collection has undoubtedly been the most talked about show of the week; and judging by the photos below featuring his sports-luxe line, we're not surprised. 

Wang's super cute niece, Aila, was also spotted at the show wearing her own Alexander Wang SS14 tee, and if we can look half as cute as her we will definitely be sporting Wang inspired designs this Spring!

Splendour in the Grass Style Guide

Splendour in the Grass is fast approaching at the end of this week and we're getting our outfits sorted early! The 3 day festival in Byron Bay is renown for it's unpredictable weather and therefore layering is key when it comes to surviving Splendour in style. You definitely need a fedora to keep the sun off your face during the day and your head warm later on. Sunnies are also key - a cute tortoiseshell pair will give you extra style points. Chambray shirts have been a huge hit and are great for layering over a crochet cami, and just incase it's extra chilly, throw on a khaki anorak. You can't possibly go to a festival without a pair of denim cut offs - it just wouldn't be right! And lastly, some gumboots will be a life saver if previous years are anything to go by. You'll be grateful for the warm, dry feet by the end of the day!

Seeing as we've passed the halfway point in winter - yipee! - it's reasonable to start thinking about spring fashion! Here's the hottest trends coming your way direct from the runway; it's all about lace, big ruffles, a peek of midriff, tailored shorts, leather, checkerboard prints and.. shockingly.. florals!

Denim shorts are a staple in an Aussie girls wardrobe for the summer time, and it's pretty simple to see why. One of the easiest pieces to wear, they can be dressed down with a basic t-shirt or dressed up with a silk button up shirt. They look great with sandals, sneakers, wedges and heels making them a super versatile piece in your wardrobe. Plus, with so many colours and cuts there's a pair to suit everyone. FESTIVAL SEASON!

Inspired by Parklife that took place on the long weekend, we thought we would look back on what's trending this festival season! 

Short-shorts paired with fake tans was standard, but cute bindi's on foreheads, pretty pastels, funky patterns, clashing brights and hot sunnies were all the go! Loving the daisy-chains in the hair for that spring feeling!
