How howtwolive brought Fashion to the Field

The dynamic Australian fashion duo tied by their stylin' family genes didn't fail to amaze the crowds by bringing their mix of high fashion, quirky playfulness and outright fun across almost all race days. What  we love about these sisters is the way the keep their own personal styles whilst still fitting the brief of the race days, which everyone should take not from. Not losing your own personal style amongst the crowd! But even though they have international success and recognition amongst bloggers, designers, fashion houses and street style photographers across the world, they still pay homage to upcoming Australian brands like Cameo which is so great. Model of the moment: Zoe Crosson

With her angelic fair hair contrasted against her all Australian tanned glow, Zoe Crosson, known better as Zoe Cross has made her way to the centre stage of fashion editorials and created beautiful, out of this world photographs. Not only that but her personal style and personality shines through the photos she takes and proving, like Cara Delevingne, that successful models don't just have to have height and the look but that those who truly stand out are those with personality and character that further translates through the images they produce.

Queen Bey takes over Australia

 

It's no surprise that when singing icon and fashion diva Beyonce came to Australia she made our hearts melt. Her fierce sense of style has made her a force to be reckoned with in the fashion sphere and her Australian 2013 tour clothing only adds to this.

Queen Bey's first stop was Brunswick, Melbourne where she appeared in a simple swim suit and coat whilst striking a fearless pose. Only Beyonce could pull off such a simple look and have the world frantically obsessing over latest fashion statement. Soon everyone in Melbourne travelled to Brunswick and began to mimic her pose. Proving once again that Beyonce is a fashion icon for all.

It was no surprise then, when Cosmopolitan Australia chose to place Beyonce on the cover of the November issue. Absolutely stunning  and quite literally glowing in gold, Mrs Carter graced all Australian Cosmo readers with her effortlessly flawless lioness self.

It's not only the clothes that she wears that has us in awe, it's her self confidence that is something which places her as a role model in the fashion world.

As Queen Bey said her self, "Who runs this world? Girls!" So ladies, take note and be as confident in your fashion choices as the diva herself.

This is exactly what Brisbane born designer Gill Lawrence did to create her second label MAD LOVE, after her work behind the label Toi Et Moi.

Mad Love is easy to wear and funky fresh, giving 'what's hot' a touch of street and grunge. We're talking the slouchy pant, the oversized tee, the rocker skirt and the swinging dress in staple palettes, pop art colours and magnified animal prints. After all, it's so much fun to be MAD in LOVE xx
